Under the Leave policy, you will be entitled to 12 paid leaves in a calendar year, i.e. one leave per month from January to December. These leaves will be credited to your leave balance at the beginning of each month.
If you wish to take a leave in a particular month, you will need to inform your manager at least one week in advance. In case you take two leaves in a month, a Maximum of 2 leaves will be compensated from your Leave balance in a month, other will be from Salary/Stipend.
At the end of each month, you will need to manually report to us whether you want the leave deduction to be made from your leave balance or if you would prefer to compensate it from your salary/stipend. If you do not report your preference, the deduction will be made from your salary by default.
if you opt to deduct from your leave balance, a maximum of two will be deducted and the rest deduction from your salary.
Please note that any unutilized leaves will not be carried forward to the next calendar year, and they will be forfeited at the end of December.

The cutoff time to send leave of the present day is 9:45 AM, you have to send/inform by the same time otherwise it will be counted as an off day and no excuses will be accepted. It is applied to all half-days, emergencies, short leave, and any other type of leave.
